Southern Lion Dance Training

Lion dance is the quintessence of China. Chinese use lion dance to celebrate the festive occasions, regardless of their size, to obtain the auspicious meaning. In fact, the sport of lion dance can achieve physical fitness. At the same time, lion dance needs to match up and echo between lion-head and lion-tail. The lion can display its brave and fierce style vividly. Good team spirit and intercommunication can fully reflect in lion dance. Therefore, lion dance is a sport for training and building intercommunication.

The course teaches basic technique of Lion dance. It includes the ways of gripping lion, common attitude, swinging method of lion, step-shaped of lion dance, the basic technique of footwork, basic knowledge and skill in drumming.
